Who We Are

GEM Enterprise (Global Engineering Management Enterprise) is a UK engineering practice delivering civil and structural projects across commercial campuses, industrial facilities, infrastructure and waterfront assets. We’re pragmatic engineers: we present clear options, design buildable details and support safe delivery on site.

What we do

  • Investigations & surveys: structural condition, PT/RC checks, roof-void access, façade risk mapping, load paths, GPR coordination.
  • Design & calculations: steel, reinforced concrete, timber/CLT, masonry, aluminium and structural glass; new build, refurb and change-of-use.
  • Civil engineering: drainage & SuDS, earthworks, retaining walls, utilities coordination, pavements and highways tie-ins.
  • Temporary works: propping, falsework/formwork, façade retention, crane bases, piling mats, hoardings.
  • Strengthening & dismantling: TRS/tie-rod systems, structural strengthening, selective deconstruction and method sequencing.
  • Repair & durability: concrete repairs, marine details, fendering, protection & maintenance planning.
  • Delivery support: CDM inputs, method statements, ITPs, site QA, O&M/maintenance notes.

Sustainability & social value

We cut risk and carbon through reuse/refurb first, lean details, and durable repairs. For public contracts, we submit a Carbon Reduction Plan and a project-specific Social Value proposal aligned to buyer outcomes.

Where we work

London & South East (HQ Kingston upon Thames) with projects across the UK and Canada. We operate seamlessly with remote review and fast site attendance.
